I don't feel like writing a long review. Suffice to say parts of it's made me laugh, none of it scared me, and most of it just reminded me how much I hate teenagers. It shoulda gone for more (intentional) comedy.
Teenagers are petty, whiny, self-indulgent near-people who think that high school popularity is the most important thing ever. This movie tried to parody that (best line (paraphrased), "No Jennifer's really evil, not just high school evil". Whether I was laughing or cringing, it was generally always in response to how annoying teenagers are.
And for the record, the bits that I did like I credit to the clever writing of Diablo Cody. And I'm not just saying that because I met her at Cinequest.
